This thing works as great as chris fix said it does i help a coworker and grandpa with problems such as codes to figure out what sensors went bad and such i highly recommend anyone to use this beautiful work of technology.

Very easy to use. Retired mechanic. Probably would save triple the cost of this device on first repair. Would still need some basic auto knowledge or mechanically inclined. It provides allot of info. Much much more than me former now dead device.

Bought this to check out used vehicles I was looking at. Tried it out on my 99' Durango to see what it could do. Diagnosed a transmission problem, not upshifting at correct RPM, in about five minutes. It was a bad output shaft speed sensor. The sensor retails for $20. A lot cheaper to buy this tool and a sensor that takes five minutes to replace than going to a shop and being told they would have to pull the transmision just to check it out. This tools app is FREE and allows you to use it on just about any car sold in North America since 1996. The diagnostic parts of the app not only shows the trouble code but includes a list of potential causes and remedies. The list of causes is also user supported in that if you come up with a fix that isn't listed you can submit your cure to the app and it may then be the next update. This tool has a ton of features for the money. Some features I can't use on my older Dodge because the old software on its ECM just doesn't have the capacity. On my 06 4runner this thing shows a lot more potential for monitoring what is going on. Does need android 5.0 or newer or an apple device to work.

This product is very user friendly. Easy interface and I havent had a connectivity issue with it yet. I only wish it came with some sort of protective carry case. Other than that, this product is absolutely top of its class.

Pros: Good for reading diagnostics information, including extended diagnostics. Cons: Not that useful for changing parameters, other than some basic operations..

After receiving my blue driver and seeing the share logo I discovered that you can print the service report or your scan of the error code or export it as a pdf. This will save you some time and money as the mechanic will already know what the problem is

The Pro Scan Tool works as advertised and is easy to use. In the future I'll use it troubleshoot any auto issue before I take it to the repair shop.
