I can't afford to wear my engine out prematurely; I don't skimp on the oil or the filter, and I still change it every 5000 miles. Is it the best? I don't know - every brand I pick up on the shelf claims it's the best - but it's likely as good as it gets, and I don't see a clear, better choice that would justify paying more - beware of oil additives that could kill your catalytic converter early.

I prefer to change my car's oil by myself at home. I had really bad experience once at dealer's and ever since I started doing it my own. I'm doing this since 4-5 years now. The Castrol edge extended performance is so far so best oil for the car's performance. Definitely recommend.
